The Visit of the Old Woman," a tragi-comedy by Friedrich Dürrenmatt presented in Kosovo in late July of 2009. "The Visit" is a classic tale of bitterness, greed, corruption and democracy. Our production was a collaboration between Catastrophic Theatre (Houston, TX), the Mitrovica Cultural Center and local NGOs Blackbird Books and Art & Media. Two dozen artists from Mitrovica and the wider region presented performances of "The Visit" in Mitrovica on July 24, 25 and 26, and in Pristina on July 31 and August 1.
